New work being added all the time!
"Bluebell Wood"
Acrylics on canvas, 100 x 50 cm.
This is a deep sided canvas (4 cm) and the edges are also painted.
£750
Hunting for a bluebell wood, we came across this spectacular spot at a place near Bishop Auckland in Co. Durham.
I've never seen so many bluebells all in one place before - the scent was as amazing as the view!

"The Way Home"
Acrylics on canvas, 65 x 46 cm. £425 A site of an old railway line in our local area (originally used for transporting coal) has since been reclaimed and is now a popular dog walking route and spectacular during autumn. "The Road To Bamburgh"
Acrylics on canvas, 70 x 50 cm. £395 After a family holiday to Northumberland, I resolved to make a number of paintings, this being one of them. The sea is just visible to the left of the castle. "Walking On Sunshine"
Acrylics on canvas, 70 x 50 cm. Commissioned painting |
"Kaleidoscope"
Acrylics on canvas, 76 x 50 cm. £450 I was entranced by the way that the way that sunlight streamed through these trees, creating shadows and changing colours as it moved through the day. It reminded me of a favourite childhood toy, a kaleidoscope and had to be painted! "Lindisfarne Castle"
Acrylics on canvas, 76 x 61 cm. £500 Painted from several photos that I took many years ago, I wanted this painting to represent the dramatic scenery of this beautiful, windswept Northumbrian island. "The Sound Of Silence"
Acrylics on canvas. SOLD I wanted to see what the causeway at Lindisfarne looked like at high tide; I was struck by it's beauty but even more by the stillness. I think this was the most peaceful place that I've ever visited and that's what I wanted to convey in this painting. |
"Tulips"
Acrylics on canvas, 50 x 50 cm. £350 This is one of the fastest paintings that I've ever done! Painted from life, the tulips were changing so rapidly that I had to work quickly; every hour they looked different so I really couldn't hang about. I took some reference photos for finishing but mostly, this was a "real time" painting. "Daffodils"
Acrylics on canvas, 50 x 50 cm. £350 Completed around the same time as my painting of tulips, this was also a fast piece (although not as fast). I love these two pictures together and have used them as greetings cards, mugs and ceramic coasters as well as prints and magnets. |
"Cherry Pink"
Acrylics on canvas, 40 x 40 cm. £250 There are certain things that always lift my spirits after the winter and the sight of cherry blossom is definitely one of them! Where I live is blessed by having lots of trees and this one is just around the corner from where I live. "The Way Home"
Acrylics on canvas SOLD |
"Hope Skies"
Acrylics on canvas, £150 Eldon Hope is a location not far from where I live and this view (in that locality) is one of my favourites. It's looking over towards Bishop Auckland and the Eden Valley. "White Horse" and "Roseberry Topping"
Acrylics on canvas, framed. £200 each or £350 for both. The white horse (at Kilburn, N. Yorkshire) and Roseberry Topping in Cleveland mark the beginning and end of a long distance walk called The White Rose Walk. |
"First Light"
Acrylics on canvas, £125 Inspired by winter photographs and my love of Impressionism. |
"Lungs"
Acrylics on canvas, 120 x 48 cm.
SOLD
Trees are so important to the health of this planet and yet the forests of the world are still under constant attack by people.
We need our lungs to survive - to give us clean air in order to survive, just as the earth needs trees!
